Ingrid graduated with a master´s degree in Coastal and Marine Management with Háskólasetur Vestfjarða. She studied how young oystercatchers use different habitats and its potential links to development of their behaviour and independence. At NAVE Ingrid specialises in birds, especially waders, but partakes in a variety of diverse projects. In her free time, Ingrid enjoys hiking, foraging, and learning to surf in the Westfjords.
